Vintage Ca. 1950’s Masco Tube Guitar Pa Amplifier Project..mu-17 Brown Amp
Here is a neat project amp........
I was recently watching an episode of Pawn Stars, and saw someone bring in this exact model Masco tube amp with a metal plaque on the rear showing an affiliation with Hank Williams Sr.
This is the Masco Model MU-17, made in New York, designed to be used for vocal or instrument applications back in the day. It appears mostly complete, but being sold un-tested, as-is condition. The cabinet has typical marks and wear for a vintage amp from this period. The amp chassis looks complete, and the 12 inch 4 ohm speaker actually looks to be in good shape, (I tested with an ohm meter). The controls up top appear original.
This is for the hobbiest that wants to restore or use her for parts or a custom amp project. Take a look at the pics, and you can click for a closer view.
The HIGH BIDDER gets it, after adding an additional $39 s/h/i in the Upper48 US States. Payment by Paypal to confirmed US addresses. Final sale. We ship by UPS, so no PO Boxes, please. NJ residents add 7% sales tax to the total. Thanks, Joe
